Kaffe Fassett Contest!

The Modern Quilt Guild has announced the Kaffe Fassett Essay Contest on their blog.  You don't have to be a member of a guild to enter.  The question for the essay is "How has Kaffe influenced you in the past and how will that help you grow as a quilter in the new year?"  Check out the details and the list of prizes by following the link above.  Good luck!

2013 - A Fresh Start

Friends, we have had quite a drop off in attendance over the last few months.  I don't know if this is due to the cold weather or other conflicts people may have but we have some big things planned for 2013!  If you are interested in being a part of our fun, modern, stitchy group (even if you aren't able to come to every meeting) please come join us next Tuesday, January 15th.  We will be doing a little planning for the new year and discussing new officers.  We will also be making sewing kits.  They are so adorable and so simple to make!  Even better, the guild will be providing all the supplies for you!

When:  Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 ----> 6:30pm
Where:  Material Girls, 1645 W Towne Center Dr, South Jordan, UT 84095
What:  Planning activities for 2013 and making Sewing Kits!  (All supplies provided by the guild!)

We hope you will come join us and invite all your fun, modern, stitchy friends!

:)  Rachel
